Welder role at FAST Engineering & Services — Production

Welder

We are seeking skilled Welders to support shipbuilding, marine repair, and heavy industrial fabrication projects at our Karachi operations and client shipyard sites.

Responsibilities

  • Execute MIG, TIG, and arc welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and marine-grade structures
  • Read and interpret welding symbols, isometric drawings, and fabrication procedures
  • Perform welds to classification and client specifications with consistent quality
  • Conduct visual inspections and coordinate with QA/QC for NDT as required
  • Maintain welding equipment and adhere to HSE standards on all job sites

Requirements

  • Certified welder with minimum 3 years of industrial or marine experience
  • Proficiency in plate and structural welding for ships, tanks, and piping
  • Safety-conscious with valid safety training credentials
  • Ability to work at heights and in yard/shipyard environments

Fabricator role at FAST Engineering & Services — Production

Fabricator

We are looking for experienced Fabricators to assemble and fit structural and mechanical components for naval, marine, and industrial engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble steel structures, blocks, frames, and mechanical assemblies
  • Mark, cut, grind, and fit components according to engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Support shipbuilding, hull repair, and heavy fabrication at KSEW, dockyard, and project sites
  • Collaborate with welders, supervisors, and QA/QC to ensure dimensional accuracy
  • Follow method statements, PPE requirements, and site safety protocols

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in structural or marine fabrication
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings and use measuring tools accurately
  • Skilled in plate work, grinding, and assembly of complex steel structures
  • Physically fit for workshop and outdoor shipyard working conditions
